This movie is terrible. Don't see it.
Disney is not Pixar, and if this movie is any indication, they're nowhere near as talented as Pixar. Splitting with Pixar was an extremely stupid thing to do, considering how much money Pixar movies rake in compared to ones that Disney does alone.
After seeing what they did with Chicken Little (which did had some bright spots, but overall just wasn't nearly as good as it could have been), I now hope and pray to God that Disney will not go ahead and try to make Toy Story 3 without Pixar. That would be terrible.
Overall, this movie is just "cute." Not funny. Or smart. Or good. Just cute. Props to Disney for the cuteness factor...but not for anything else.

Freaking short is what it was! It was hardly 45 min. long! And yeah, they could have made it better. But it wasn't the WORST movie I've ever seen. There was some funny stuff in there. But that's just my taste. Guess yall have different opinions.

Yes, it was waaay too short. 80 minutes if I remember correctly. I know you can't expect kids to sit through a 3-hour epic, but still, 80 minutes?! That's just laziness.

Hey, who decided on the split between Disney and Pixar?

I think what happened is that Pixar wanted more of the profits they were making off their movies (possibly 100% of them), and Disney said no. So Pixar said, "Fine. We don't need you" and split.
Which was stupid on Disney's part. Even if Disney had ended up giving Pixar all the profits, at least being linked to Pixar would give them some credibility. If they're split with Pixar, they make no money off of Pixar's movies. If they stay with Pixar, they might not make any money, but at least they're still associated with good movies.[/color]
